prince george is from "black adder" and was way funnier, Hugh was amazing as george, i recommend it to anyone ( not that house isnt good, just not AS good ) and if your going to call him anything why not prince george or Wooster even or just call him Hugh laurie, it IS HIS NAME

As a Hugh Laurie fan I quite agree. However, his character name is Doctor Gregory House, hence the title of the show, House M.D.
He rules anyway, he is an amazing talent.

So glad so many remember him on Black Adder and as Wooster. I took me a little while to get use to him being all serious. Now that I am he rocks. He also had a great part as a MI6 agent on Spooks - know in America as MI%.

I don't know. It's weird. Most Americans did not know him before "House," and they love him in that role so much that it has become his popular identity over here. Those of us who have known him for years from Blackadder and Jeeves & Wooster can chuckle knowingly to ourselves.
