I've always wanted to get my nose pierced and I'm thinking about finally having it done. I will be 29 on Sunday and I don't want to be one of those older people who's trying to look younger. I just think they look really cool and that one would look good on me. Any suggestions?

No way are you too old. Go for it. It so subtle. Do you happen to have freckles? They look so good on people with freckles.

I am 30 and have had my nose pierced for years but as I get older and my kids get older I think about taking it out. I already my bellybutton piercing and my tongue piercing but this one leaves a hole in your nose that people can see until it heals and then it leaves a scar so I would think long and hard before going to get it done at 29.

My friend Heidi is 37 and had her nose pierced 3 years ago. I think nose piercing is not something that is affected by age (as long as you get a discreet nose ring and not a big loop like an ox). Also, keep in mind that a) 29 is not too old and b) even great-grandmothers have nose rings in India.

I don't think you are too old to get one and I don't think it'll look like you are trying to be younger. Keep the jewelry simple and small and you'll be fine (probably something with a small gemstone in it).
If people do judge you, shrug it off. You like how it look, you want one, so get one!
(I'm a professional piercer and yesterday I did nose piercings for 36 year old twin sisters and I've pierced people off all races and genders even older than that too.)

I were given my tongue, eyebrow and navel all pierced even as i replaced into 12. i wager what age you're relies upon on your adulthood and your mom and father. in the journey that your mom and father say no, you shouldn't whine or pout or argue about it because they have their causes. The chick above me is so accurate! each and anybody freaked out when I were given my first piercing, tongue. I did it on a dare and the different female did not get it performed. After that each and each and anybody all started getting piercings. My tongue barbell is the in elementary words piercing I have left. I had to take them out to get a job even as i replaced into 15. i did not opt for to ought to take them out generic for artwork because i assumed it ought to reason an infection.

29 is not old! You should do what you personally think is best for you. I say go for it if you are comfortable with having it done. If you have doubts, though, maybe you should reconsider. Think of it this way, though, if you have it done & you don't feel right wearing it you can take it out...no biggee. It's not like getting a tattoo. Good luck~

I'm not too into piercings, but if you get a small, tasteful nose ring and it does not affect you while on the job- Go for it!

You should definately do it. If it's something you've always wanted then I say go for it...you're definately not too old and it's not like it's a permanent thing, anyways. You can always remove it whenever you feel you have outgrown the piercings.
DO IT! You won't regret it!

If you really want it, then get it. Usually that "old trying to be young" applies to 40+ people. At 28, going on 29, you are still young enough to wear and do whatever fashions and trends you like.

Just do it! You'd obviously be doing it for yourself rather than someone else anyway. Besides, you're never too old! You're only as old as you feel. And believe it or not, a lady about the age of 65-70 came up to me the other week and asked me about mine. She asked me if it hurt and said she always wanted one. She asked my opinion and I told her go for it. You only live once!
