You are right. Trust has to be earned. How can this government earn trust with lies like this. Ironically, it doesn't seem to matter to some people. One persons says this is not the venue for this question. Why isn't it? This is a great venue to open peoples eyes, if only they will open them. Another says blah, blah, blah. Why would this person not care about his/her government lying? I'll bet they cared very much about Clinton's lie. Hell, they wanted to impeach him for it. Clinton's lie was so insignificant compared to what we have seen, it is crazy. And I don't care if it is not the first time we have been lied too. When will it be the last time???

Actually, the gov't set up a fund to help workers affected by the dust at 9-11, then accidentally closed it but then reopened it again indefinitely. However, I don't think the fund will help anyone who lived near the WTC and was affected.

No one ever said the WTC site was completely safe and many people recommened that the workers use the closed ciruit breathing appartus commonly used by firemen going in buring buildings. However, this would have greatly slowed the rescue of victims and the rebulding of the site. The dust at 9-11 is not any more harmful than other dusty site. Extended exposure to any sort of dust will have harmful effects on humans. One of my clients made ceramic parts out of fine clay dust (which is all natural taken directly form the ground to their factory) and an abnormally high number of their workers were affected by it.
