This question is seeking opinions on the interest level of TV viewers staying informed on their eBay auctions while watching TV. They can receive outbid alerts on TV and re-bid using their TV remote. Also, search and bid on items they see on TV with their TV remote

Sounds like a realistic wave of the future. I'm sure it will eventually happen. Reason is e-bay makes plenty of money from on-line auctions. It seems like the logical next step in the evolutionary technology process of linking TV with the Internet. E-bay gets millions of visits each month, if TV could add advertisement to e-bay, there is plenty of money to be made. Plus we are a consumer society, we love to buy. E-bay TV just gives consumers another avenue to shop on.

I'm sure there would be interest in that.
Like QVC, etc., there could be the eBay Channel. Tune it in, have some kinda password to get in with your remote, then bid, bid, bid, buy, buy, buy.

I dont think that poeple would really use it if they wanna check their ebay then they would be online
