So here's something that happened to my sister about 20 years ago. I think she was around 10 at the time. She walked down the staircase and started walking into the kitchen. All she saw was our silverware spinning in mid-air on an imaginary axis. She screamed, ran out of the house, and waited for my mother to come home. She says that when she screamed all the silverware dropped straight to the floor.

Also, recently my brother and his wife were staying at the same house in which the aforementioned incident took place. My dying grandmother was staying downstairs. Two nights before she actually passed away, my brother and his wife went to bed...no big deal. Then my bro woke up early in the morning, only to find a big huge cardboard box on the bed between him and his wife, and some of the papers from inside the box were strewn about the covers. The papers were nothing significant at all, mostly random papers from around the house. Not sure if it's connected, but two days later my grandmother passed away.

My parents still live in that house, and despite some spooky stories it is a lovely home and I love being there.

One night I was reading and a blue orb-like light about a foot diameter appeared in front of my right shoulder which shocked by thumb. This "orb" transformed into a tether-like light and traveled to my TV screen across the room.Even though this occured in probably less than a second, I could see a 3-d effect as the tether disappeared. My thumb was numb and I checked the room outlets to see if there was a short.I have no idea what it was, maybe a freak nature dose of static electricity.I never thought ghosts feasible until I experiened this.

I know that when I lived at this one apartment in Tacoma called Coventry Court. I swear till this day that the place is haunted. And since I moved out, I am deffenatly convienced that it is haunted. I remember I was changing a light in the hallway, which had two ligts, one above the entry door and one above the washer and dryer. The one by the door was the light that had been out for a while, so I was just using the one light and that one was the one above the washer and dryer. so after turning the switch off and putting in a new light, I went to turn on the light and test it. Oddly enough the other light stopped working, so when I went to lift the cover off the one above the washer and change that light bulb, I came to notice that there wasn't even a bulb in there to change. And that was the light I had been using, and was working like there was a bulb in it the whole time.

I have seen a ghost. My mother claimed to have seen ghosts her whole life, but I never believed her, and our family used to laugh at her.

Last year, in New Orleans, at the St James Hotel on my honeymoon, I became a believer.

We came home early that particular night. I read a little, and went to sleep. The room was VERY dark....light blocking curtains. And very quiet. The hotel was very old. At around 3 am, I remember feeling my eyes physically open. I was on my right side. I looked, and there next to the bed was a man with a wide brimmed hat....just standing there facing me. I didn't see his face, but was sure he was actually there. I screamed. Next thing I know, my new hubby was restraining me in the bed, telling me to calm down. I screamed so loud, I lost my voice and he thought someone was killing me in the room with us. I evidently screamed more than once, although I don't remember.

People think it was "cool" to have seen a ghost. I can tell you, it is definitely an experience...but I wouldn't call it a cool one. I can do without having it happen again.

I see them occasionally and I feel and hear them too. I know you probably think I'm crazy, but hey, you asked.
I've had several experiences over the years. It started when I was very young and I had pneumonia.
I didn't realize what the heck was going on until I was in the 8th grade. I never spoke about it and always kept it to myself. Then, as I began my teenage years I started to pay attention to it. If there's any thing specific that you want to know, feel free to e-mail me.
Hope this helps you....

When I was 19, I was a youth leader in a church camp. I saw the ghost of a priest that used to live there. He had died 15 years before. I wasn't the only one who saw him.

Yes. When I was in Middle School I saw a little girl looking back at me through a bathroom mirror, only when I turned around she wasen't there. The next year I went in that bathroom alone again and she giggled in my ear.

Yes I have. Practically every student in my school has experienced something in the auditorium. Once in drama class, we all heard this weird knocking as though it came from under the stage. We all thought it was Carlos (class clown) but he was seated among us. Weird things happened in drama class all the time but we ignored them. Every time I go on vacation from school, the school hires me. This one time my boss sent me to look for a music teacher who was supposed to be rehearshing with his class in the auditorium. I knocked on a side door but nobody opened. I went back to Mr. S and told him that nobody was there but he was sure Mr. K was in there and was just refusing to open up because he knew who had sent me. That's when Mr. S gave me his keys to the auditorium and told me to go in there and drag Mr. K to the office if it was necessary. I opened up the back door... um, when you walk in there is a long hallway with doors on either side. The doors on the right lead to the street and the others are multiple entrances to the auditorium. I unlocked the middle door and tried to open it but it wouldn't. It was as though someone were holding it to keep me from entering. I called out to Mr. K that Mr. S had sent me to get him since I thought it was one of Mr. K's students because I could hear a muffled voice. After a few more pushes I was able to walk in and absolutely nobody was there. I walked to the stage because I thought he was hiding there and I started hearing crashing and dragging noises backstage. I kept calling Mr. K because I thought it was him or his students (again). As I stood there expecting an answer from Mr. K, the side door I knocked on at first opened and there was Mr. K with his students. He told me that he was late to his class for some car incident and he had found Mr. S on the way to the auditorium and he had been talking to him the whole time. I was about to tell him about the noise but I noticed it had stopped. I was really freaked out! >.<

they do not exist...people try and imagine that there is some after life where the spirits float about rattling chains etc. If ghosts did exist we would see them every day and everyone would have an experience of them, not just some 'gifted' being, it really is crap. Why dont you concern yourself with something more useful and tangible, like domesticity, child rearing, etc.
Remember Ghostbusters was not based on a true story.
