What happens when you stick your hand into a fire? I know it burns, duh, but does it melt and bubble, or does it go black and crisp?

Both. Its a complex procedure. First the hair singes and burns up. Then the skin dehydrates from extreme temperatures and begins to peel. Then the fat begins to melt and bubble, specially higher up on the arm. Once the fat is burned, the muscle burns and turns black and crisp.

If you look people who are already burned you can see they turned black. So I think you turn black and crisp.

You definitely get burned but I think it gets black and crisp and ashy and falls off

it will go black and crisp, like any other piece of meat. If there is hair on it, that will curl up and smoke.
