How do you stop someone from falsly accusing you of abuse on message board?

Someone keeps reporting me for abuse because they disagree with my opinions. Can they cause a person to lose their account and if so, what can be done to guard against it?

Tell the admin to ignore this person and if he continues, leave the message board. It's not worth it to fight just to type and post to strangers, but if he follows you onto another, you might have legal grounds for cyber-libel.
