What is wrong with our government? are we purposely trying to encourage Katrina victims to continue to live off the hand outs they are being given? I know of at least 4 of these "victims" who have all been working for a minimum of 9 months and still continue to have everything paid for them by FEMA. This is disgusting!! What is wrong with these people? Our government makes it so difficult to get help for people who honestly need it, yet these "hurricane" dead beats are having it all handed to them. FEMA needs to wise up and dump these people out of the help line. It's way beyond time for them to all start carrying their own weight. All this hand out extension crap makes me sick!

properly, certain - we did help ourselves. you should appreciate the severity of issues. For one, certain there replaced into flooding, even though it did not wipe an entire component to the country off the map, like Katrina did to New Orleans. that is likewise finished of those those who are not as adverse as those in New Orleans. we are talking the parts that were hit right here in WI were summer season houses and 2d houses. the persons right here had the money to fix issues. and also being heavily farm us of a, there are many persons with the heavy equipment already obtainable to assist their pals. human beings help one yet another interior the Midwest. It has continuously been that way, and it continuously will be. even although they were both failures, you're comparing apples and oranges right here. the style of human beings effected, the quantity of harm, and the point of harm are very diverse. I even haven't any difficulty with the persons effected with techniques from Katrina getting more advantageous help than we did. not a situation for me in any respect. i comprehend that the persons down the line receives their the front-end haulers and head down if i favor them to. And my husband and that i have been financially able to get ourselves decrease back on our ft after issues. i could not imagine the point of devastation they'd in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Because the jobs many of these people get pay so low that everything goes into the nessicities: rent, food, heat, clothing, etc.
If you lost your home right now and got a job that earned $10 an hour, would you be able to support your family?
Economically these people also do the rest of us a favor; all of the money they get goes into the economy; they spend everything they get because they can't afford to save anything.

You should begin, at this very moment, to pray, just pray, that nothing like that ever happens to you. If it does, I'll be sure to check in with you regularly to see how long it takes you to get back on your feet after losing everything, and ask you why you aren't carrying your own weight. Come to think of it, I'm beginning to feel a little ill myself.

As with any program, there will be people who try to cheat the system. So you know four people who shouldn't be receiving aid. 200,000 lost everything, and continue to need help.

That's what we do; we take care of our citizens.
