All I can say is that true marine sharks are not fish for beginners. Sharks are surprisingly sensitive to water quality problems and cannot tolerate copper. It is hard to say what is going wrong without more information.

Before you buy another shark please do some research. Are you aware that a bamboo shark will grow to an adult size of 3 feet long? That means you need a minimum of a 180 gallon tank for one bamboo shark. Can you afford that? Can your floor hold that much weight? Don't expect your local zoo to take it when it gets too big. Zoos are offered sharks that have overgrown home aquaria all the time - they usually refuse them. You cannot release it into the wild, either, so what would you do with your 3 foot bamboo shark? Please think this through. I love sharks, too, but they are not for the casual or beginning aquarist. You also have to have the money and space for the tank needed to keep it for its lifespan.

Well, let's start with obvious questions... what are you feeding it? How big is the tank? What are the water parameters (salinity, pH, kH, GH, temp, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates).

How old was it and where did you get it from?

For starters, a 55 gal is too small for a bamboo shark. 100 gallons is the bare minimum. Second of all, he would have eaten all your other fish, including your clowns. Thirdly, if you don't have any live rock, what is your filtration method?
The fact that two fish died demonstrates that something is wrong with your water parameters. What are they? Exact numbers please.
