Men do take Love seriously but it takes longer for some of us to mature. Some people also have emotional problems which render them unable to have a lasting relationship.

people take love seriously because along with hate there is not a more extreme emotion a human can feel.
both extremes can cause an otherwise well ajusted person to do the extreme.
they both can make you become physically ill.
love is taken seriously because its not a joke.
people have lied because of it people have died because of it

Well it seems to be in the genes. I've studied it... with no results. But I did get some insight. I take it seriously but I've noticed that 96.4 of the men in the U.S. dont. That cuts us kind of low.

most people that dont take love seriously are usually afraid, afraid of what they may do wrong or they just cant stay in a relationship

well for one thing sex isn:t love its sex men today dont know the different today they kill wifes for sex with girl friend , and the kids what can we do , stop giving it way beening easy tell your son the truth about love and sex to me men get married for these reasons to get sex some one to take care of them,and if sex is the great thing to keep us together why is ther so many probles .
