I just heard about that a few days ago that he was going to retire, but still was saddened to see him actually do it.. There still is quite a bit of speculation that Show will return at Wrestlemania and take on Hogan, which would be an awesome return to their rivalry from the WCW.
He also had the honor of being the only person to hold the WWE, WCW and ECW championship which was cool, and he did a lot for the new ECW, so yes he should be thanked quite a bit. The biggest thing was his desire to learn the actual craft instead of mauling people like a "Giant".
He did a lot and should be given the respect he deserves, as well as being one of the most approachable WWE superstars in recent history. His skit with the late great Eddie Guerrero involving the burrito delivery man was and is one of my favorites of all time....

nicely, i know the WWE thinks they choose 20-0 truly badly, yet in the beginning what possibility is Mark keen to place himself via to do one extra tournament? I advise.. he didnt attempt against lots final year.. and as far as i know he in straightforward terms carried out at Wrestlemania this year so far.. if he's in that undesirable of shape.. Wrestling back seems very volatile to his wellbeing, and his kinfolk. Secondly.. if he does attempt against at Wrestlemania 28 I choose the WWE might actual see the oppertunity for some youthful on the ingredient celebrity to get a huge push, and wreck the streak.. those are the form of moments which could make a superstars profession.. reason actual wether the Undertaker is 20-0 or 19-a million whilst he retires, no one is going to think of anymore or any much less approximately him. he will consistently be the phenom. BQ: Mid card push, shot on the IC identify in line with probability.. attempt to artwork his thank you to substantial experience status..

Considering his size, the big show is an amazing athlete. Its a shame the ECW fans did'nt give him a chance as their champion. I wish all the best and I hope we see him again in another role somewhere down the line, I don't know maybe bodyguard or enforcer. Good Luck Show.

This is hardly "breaking news".

This was reported on wrestling news sites for the past six months.

Big Show said in several interviews on websites that he does not plan to wrestle past January 2007, as he feels he made enough money to take care of himself and his family, and wants to spend the rest of his years at home with his family.

I don't understand why he is doing this, I mean losing the ECW World Title is one thing, but losing it then retire from what you accomplished from it is RIDICULOUS! He needs to stay and go back for Smackdown or Raw! or he'll go to TNA like all wwe superstars do when they say that they are going to retire.

He definitely won't join TNA. His body really isn't in the best shape anymore, and he has given interviews talking about the pain that he was in recently. He was going to fight his last match at mania, i believe, but I guess he wanted to do it sooner.

I would certainly rank him as one of the best larger wrestlers ever.

I think it's great news for him, give up now get in shape and he wont end up like Andre did (RIP) He was in realy bad shape at the end... I heard Show would be interested in acting, his size and he's supposed to be realy funny aswel wouldn't have no problems doing that...
