You don't need a job in the field to get into school enroll now. They make great money for a 2 year degree. You can get a job as transporter to begin with so you have your foot in the door when you get your degree.

And the monkey flips the switch - and thats about all you will have to do!!

My best bud is a Rad Tech now, but I know while he was in school, he hooked up with the job placement advisor at the college he attened and he got a job at the local University Hospital and he worked as an assistant while he finished his degree in Radiologic Technology. Worked for him. Contact your job placement advisor! Good luck to you!

Oh, I just read the bottom part of your question. Sorry :-) In this case since you aren't in school yet, contact your local hospital. Most hospitals will help you get into school and pay for a large chunk of it too! But I still want to say : Good luck to you!

I took a weekend xray course for dentistry and certified that same weekend.

Keep one thing in mind, you are paying the school to teach you and to teach you well enough to be employable. It is your credentials which will get you the job not the other way around.
