I sure hope it's not, since I haven't got my tree up either. I'm going to be putting it up with my three grandsons this weekend.

Doesn't seem like Christmas though, since there is no snow here yet. Everywhere else around us there's more than a foot of snow, and we get more rain!

Christmas hasn't come yet, so it isn't too late in my book.

Putting up your Christmas tree can be a nice treat or event for just you or you and your loved ones! Put on some Bing, brew up some cocoa, slip on your fuzzy socks and enjoy yourself while putting up the tree!

You're right about people still putting up their tree the night before. I know a family where that is tradition for them. The night before is the only time they can have everyone there together and they put up the tree as a family. Personally I would rather look at the tree longer than a day, but hey it keeps them close!

Have fun!

Too late? No way! We are getting our tree next Saturday and that is somewhat early for us. My mom was another one of those people whose parents put up the tree on Christmas eve when the kids were sleeping, but that was a long time ago.

It is quite late but then it's not Christmas yet, and at the end of the day its up to you when you put your tree up! and we usually take ours down within the first 2 weeks of January!

Its never too late! Make a big deal of it. Invite friends or family over bake cookies, have a drink. Maybe even call it a Christmas tree decorating party and have everyone bring an ornament. This will surely get you in the spirit for the holidays!!

We're getting our tree this Friday--that'll be Dec.8th. I definitely don't consider that too late.

I grew up with a mother who was such a procrastinater that sometimes we would literally get the tree on Christmas Eve. It's very annoying to a kid to have to wait that long just because your mom is too busy! =P But at least we got one, so I can't complain.

Anyway, so go get your tree and start decorating! Have fun!

No it's not too late. I've got friends that wait until their kids are in bed on Christmas eve to put up their tree. I guess it adds to the suspense for the kids.

its never to late, enjoy Christmas and everything it has to do with for as long as you can, it only comes once a year, so put it up this friday and enjoy! i think its really silly to put your tree up on Christmas and not enjoy it for a longer time, mine goes up right after thanksgiving, i like sitting in the dark with a cup of hot cocoa and the only light in the room is that of my Christmas tree, definately one of the best feelings in the world!
