I cuurently run my own Windows 2003 webserver off my DSL line. I am looking for a good ASP Blogging app to run my personal website. I need to be able to add as many Catergories as I would like and have a place to post pictures, videos, and audio clip.

I've just set up Presstopia Blog on our intranet, and I found it really easy and quick, plus if you are a programmer it's easy to extend it and add things like CAPTCHA ( the warped text images for stopping bots adding comments)
It's asp.net and you can get it from www.presstopia.com.

You should do some more research but, for starters, you can do the following: 1. Your main topic/keyword should be in your blog title and URL. 2. Your blog description should have your primary keywords. 3. Your keywords should be in your meta tags. 3. Your post title should have the relevant subject keyword. 4. Each post should have the relevant keywords spread throughout at a density of not more than 5%. A keyword should be in the first and last sentences as well as in paragraphs in-between. 5. If you use images, they should have your keywords as alt tags. 6. Avoid using non-html content or anything that search engine spiders can't read. 7. Start building an unlimited number of quality backlinks to your blog through article marketing, social bookmarking and social media. 8. If you have AdSense ads, feature only one post per page so as not to confuse AdSense with different keywords.
