Doesn't yahoo taskbar have a pop up stopper?
Might be worth giving it a go as it's free.... a pop up will tell you a pop up is about to pop up but at least it's clean ;o)

You have a problem with adware and spyware. You should consider downloading Firefox which is a internet browser that is secure and adaware SE Personal which is a program that scans for cookies and other problems such as spyware. Firefox uses a pop up blocker which is very effective.
Also I recomend for you to scan with you antivirus software and download from Microsoft the detection tool. All this is for free and the sucess rate is high.

Yahoo toolbar has a pop-up blocker on it that works well. Also as others have adviced install spybots and Lavasoft adware softeware. Another good program is CCleaner. You can review each of these and get further help at the website listed below.

Do you have Spybot Search and Destroy? It is a free spyware removal tool and pretty darn good. AdAware is also good. But, nothing beats a good clean format and reload. It will take care of your pop-ups and may improve performance!

ok this is how u do itu need this it has one hell of a popup blocker in its software it is 1000% better then explorer pop up blocker i have this running at all times i have never seen anything so fast as this
download AD-aware professional then install it u can scan for spyware with that then hit on AD-watch let that run in task bar if any pop up comes up it will block it fast an kick u off that website and block it . al so if u use zonealarm firewall that has a xxx blocker website on it not just that it can block any thing you dont want to run it has a perental control u hit on that then hit on catrgories then all da website in there that u want blocked tick them and there block for good also u can block spam email and block an email address that keeps sending u email you dont want

Go here and download both and do scans,the prevx is a 30 day trial but it works great.Sounds like you have some bugs in PC

You need 2 programmes and you should run them regularly. Spybot search and destroy and ad-aware. They are both free from downloads.com or most magazine dvds. Be careful with spybot if you are running P2P like Bearshare.
Take no notice of the guy you suggested a format and re-insallation, thats just ridiculous!

Hey! Do you use Mozilla Firefox 2.0? Because you never get any pop ups as Firefox blocks them all.
