I'm between 5 and 6 weeks pregnant, and I have an ultrasound. I'm very paranoid this pregnancy, since I lost my son in jan, and I know if they don't see a baby tomorrow I'm going to flip out. Is there a good chance they'll see something. I've been having cramping quite a bit, so I really need this to calm my nerves. Has anyone else seen their baby this early?

Well they will definitely need to do a transvaginal ultrasound to see anything. Typically they don't do u/s screening at 5 or 6 weeks, but they will probably see a small egg sac.

Good luck and try not to worry!

I had an ultrasound done at about 7-8 weeks. There was a little head, a little squiggly body, a yoke, and a heart beat.

You should definitly be able to see something :) It probably wont look like anything more than a bean, and there very well likely might not be a heart beat this early on (its very normal at 5-6 weeks to not have a heart beat yet).

You'll be fine :)

v high hormones is a good sign but you may be carrying twins!!!!
they will be able to see the sac and maybe the baby but it will be small.
i saw my baby at 6 weeks and it was tiny by 8 wks it had more than doubled in size!

good luck
