Its Tom Lehrer's poisoning pigeons in the park and it's VERY funny. Based on the fact that in the USA they murdered loads to lower the numbers(or so I believe).
'and they all go for peanuts when coated in cy-an-ide' is just one lyric. The whole album is hilarious-the Christmas one is particularly amusing especially this time of year, my Dad has an original L.P. that he managed to buy before they banned it due to the 'We'll all fry together when we fry' song about nuclear weapons.
Not in such bad taste nowadays if you can get a copy of the album on line, do!
