I am working on a modern book that combines some plot from three of Jane Austins Novels (pride and prejudice and sense and sensability and emma) into a young adult theme, also it wil have similar aspects of Anne of green gables in the writing style. would this sound like a book you would read, or what kinds of thoughts or ideas can you give me on how this would be received? its a project that I have been wanting to do since I frist began writing, let me know! thanks your opinion would be apreciated!

I think it is a really interesting idea and yes i would probably read it. I have read the Jane Austen books over and over, so something new with a bit of an edge would definitely catch my attention.
Good luck with it!

It sounds really interesting.
My teen-age daughter and I spend a lot of time talking about Jane Austen's books. There aren't enough of them out there! We even (on occasion) like to refer to some of the characters and point out similarities to people we know.

Well... would it kind of have a lolita-ish theme, with an older male (over 18), and a younger female (under 18)?

If so, then no... those kind of novels are totally overdone and trite to me. It'd have to get LOTS of praise in order for me to consider something like that.

But hey, a lot of disillusioned teenage girls like that kind of thing, so it'd probably get lots of readers. :)

I do hate to take heed to re-recorded tunes. On I-tunes, i do no longer think of you may tell. except there's a date of the recording or it comes ideal out and says it, there is not any longer the thank you to tell.
