For the past ten years Oasis has been one of my favorite bands. I love their music. Their songs are good but they don't seem to make any sense. What do you think?

I think they make perfect sense. I've sat down and just listened to the words, and I think they're genius. Lots of symbolism, lots to think about.
I think Oasis = perfect music.

What *I'll* never understand is the Beatles connection everyone seems to make w/ them. I don't think they sound a thing like the Beatles. Bands like Badfinger & Big Star sound far more like them to me....
Anyway, never liked Oasis. Overrated IMO....

Their best songs were written when they were on the peak of their drug and alcohol addiction, of course they don't make any sense. I was their fan, but their last albums have really disappointed me, so they would have to come up with something as good as Definitely Maybe or WTSMG for me to love them back.

I love them! Don't care if some of what they sing makes so sense - all part of their charm.

slowly walking down the hall... it really doesn't matter if they make sense.. they're a great band.... so is incubus.. you should listen to them if you get the chance.
