No, it's not normal. You should inform your doctor. Don't have any intercourse until you talk your doctor, you might be putting your baby's life at risk.

I know that it is scary, but it is not at all out of the ordinary. I have 2 children and it happened to me. There are several different reasons that it may be happening, too many to list here, but it is not a great cause for concern. I highly recommend picking up the book "What To Expect When You're Expecting"-it covers just about any pregnancy related question that you may have. You will find that some bleeding/spotting can be normal without intercourse. As a precaution, though, I would notify my doctor and they can better advise you since they know your specific circumstances. Good luck to you and congratulations!

I have had the same once and now have a wonderful son of 14 months. It happens because there is much more blood running through your womb. But do tell your doctor and if you don't trust it let them have an echo and make sure everything is all right. I did the same and it made me feel much better. Also ask your doctor if it is safe to have intercourse while pregnant after they examined you.

YES....this happened to me but toward the END of my pregnancy...since you are just now pregnant....its a question i would ask my Dr.....if there is no cramping or clots then I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. My ob/gyn told me "first trimester spotting is normal"....
good luck and congrats YOU HAVE A LONG HALL!!

The blood vessels in your cervix are engorged from the pregnancy, and they can be irritated after intercourse. Since it's happened twice, I would ask the doctor about it.

I bled with bith of my pregnancies after intercourse and it is considered normal. As long as it stays light and is spotting my Doctor told me it's not a reason for concern

your cervix is extra sensitive and your partner could have knocked it. it could be an STD or nothing at all.
i had some bleeding. i went to the doctor turned out to be nothing.
get it checked put ur mind at rest and maybe give sex a rest for a while at least till 12 weeks when you reach the 'safe' period
good luck

Ask your doctor, any bleeding should be reported to your doctor. Or any changes that seem not right or concern you. Get a list or a book on what to expect during pregnance.

Yes, if it isn't even enough to wear a pad it is just your cervix being irritated. It won't cause complications or early labour. Internal exams will cause the same thing, if you consent to them
