IF - and only IF the cause of your emissions failure is due to NOx, then it CAN help if the cause is due to coking of the valves and the upper cylinder. The coking causes disturbance in the air flow, and it causes a rise in the compression which causes higher compression pressures and greater heat, both of which contribute to elevated levels of NOx. SeaFoam is one of the better products for this purpose. BUT it is NOT a cure-all. If the cause of elevated emissions is not coking, it will do little. If the cause of your emissions failure is HC and or CO along with NOx, you have other issues to deal with.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas

Sea Foam will not help pass an emission test, but may cause problems such as rusting inside your engine over time if added to the crankcase
