There is so much you can do...dog collars and leashes, beds, blankets, toys, treats, pictures w/poems or their doggie foot print, outfits....there is so much and it depends on what that particular owner would appreciate more. Some dont like outfits but others love to pamper their pets so a blanket or pillow would mean more.

I always make cat nip mice. Just take three pieces of tear drop shaped cloth, sew two of them together, add a small bag of catnip as the stuffing, and sew the bottom piece of cloth on. Cut a thin strip of yarn to be the tail, sew that on and find two half a circle pieces of cloth for the ears. Fold one of them in half and put the needle near the base of the corner, then sew the ear on. find two beads or buttons, sew that on the eyes and walah! you have your present. This generally takes me about 5 minutes and i find it very hard to use the sewing machine and it goes alot faster by hand. good Luck!

u can go online and find recipes for dog biscuits- for a cat u could get them a little toy- for a fish something for their bowl
