I've been in L.a. for one year and I am interested about know people that just speak english, to improve mine. I've been in English school but there are just latins and a few asian,

If you're out at a club, try approaching females on a tutoring level. First let them know you are not trying to pick them up. Then explain that you want to get to know them so you can get to know their language. Just try that with as many females as possible. Even if you go to a restaurant or the store or where ever. If you approach a guy with the same approach they may thing you are gay & trying to pick them up. So keep it to the females. That way you'll end up with alot of females friends. Women are teachers by nature. You might even end up dating the majority of them. Now if you are gay, then just try the same approach on men. But you might want to be in a gay community. Wouldn't want you to get hurt by a guy that doesn't understand. Good Luck!!!

You have the right ideas. If you want to learn English, you have to immerse yourself in the environment.
Few ideas.... Join a volunteer group of some kind. Participate in clubs, join YMCA, join some kind of hobby clubs. Do anything that will mix you up with other folks will be helpful.
I suggest you will continue with your formal English training as you will need a solid foundation to speak the language correctly. You will soon notice, most people do not speak correctly....

isnt LA full of hispanics? u need to move to a place where there are less latinos living around, or find a job where nobody speaks spanish that way you can improve your english,,, if you dont speak good english, people who only speak english wont really want to be your friend,,,but not all of them are like that, try going to some clubs...

Join a club that has an activity that you enjoy. Check out craigslist.org for Los Angeles, and there are plenty of clubs/activities listed...good luck!
