Hi there. A successful estate agent will earn much more than a successful teacher, but also note that based on hours actually worked and stress endured, estate agents are on a vast fortune compared to teachers.
Mind you, check out "Freakonomics" by Stephen Leavitt to see why estate agents are the biggest liars in existence.
Cheers, Steve.

well if you're looking for a career economically
rewarding then possibly real estate would be a
career to consider. Teaching can be rewarding
also, but the monetary rewards are not as good.
I believe teachers should be paid more, most work
long hours before, during and after work, while
developing young minds.
and it's just my opinion but there is nothing wrong
with asking for fair and just compensation for a noble
cause as educating our young people.
I can't speak to england but here in the states I know
personally of people who are real estate agents, and
make six figures, and while they make a large sum,
many times this is only because they also work long
hours.

Teacher is better basic, but an estate agent will make commission too...if they're any good obviously.

I really hope you're not basing your career path on the pay? My God, I hope to God my kids are never taught by you...someone who's only in it for the money!!

Go and be an estate agent please, you've got the right attitude...up your own **** and stupid!

Considering there are always teacher strikes and that estate agents drive fancy cars I'm gonna assume they make a shedload more monay than teachers do! i don't know for sure though I'm afraid.

There's a new career field coming up in the US called Senior Moving Assistance. These people, usually women, help senior citizens sell off what they can't keep when they move into small apartments and arrange the move, etc. If you have patience and empathy, it's a good field to be in.

it depends what subject you teach and at which school/college/university. same with estate agents, it depends who you work for and how good you are.
