I'm going to be realistic here. Anyone can guess what it is, and say its the processor or the (pick up coil)sensors, but the only way to get to the root of the problem is to remove the wheels, look at the sensors, and clean them, test them, and then conclude the problem. I have seen (with my own two eyes) this: Disc brakes are made from a metal compound, and put off a lot of metal dust. The wheel sensors have a magnet in them, and work by generating a pulse each time the metal on the reluctor passes the (pick up coil) sensor. Dust from the brakes will stick to the sensors, and will pack up so bad that the sensor doesn't know if the wheel is turning or standing still. I have fixed many of these by removing all that dust that was packed up on the senors. I used a meter, and spun the wheel to see make sure I was getting the pulse from each sensor as it should be. I replaced the wheels, and guess what? The problem was solved! One other thing to look for is a sensor mount bent out of position, and the sensor not getting a proper pulse from the metal tabs as they pass by the sensor. Check the reluctor wheels to make sure they have all of the tabs, and none of them are missing.
Another thing to look for is the possibility of a wheel locking up, or the brake grabbing due to a leaking wheel cylinder. This can drive the ABS crazy by sending the signal that a wheel is sliding when in fact it is not.
After all of this is done, then you can start looking at the processor as the culprit.
Glad I could help, Good Luck!!!

The ABS should only kick in when the tires stop rotating suddenly.
1. bad sensor on a wheel.
2. bad processor.
I would vote for the processor as a whell sensor would give you an indicator whereas if the processor is screwed up enough it might not.
Need to get it looked at.
