You seem to be trying to ask your entire question sheet, one question at a time. While people here don't mind helping to understand the concepts, it is much better for you to try to apply the answers you learn from one question to the solution of the next.

In this question, you are trying to find the minimum of C(x) over the range [0,300]. Use the techniques for finding the minimum of a function over a range that you have been taught in class, or that have been given to you in other Yahoo! answers.

plug in any number less then 300 but more then 0 and ya there you go
