I've been told everything from sugar, to diet, to hygiene, to diabetes, to birth control. I've cut out sugar, dieted, I'm VERY hygienic, and to my knowledge do not have diabetes. What can I do to get rid of them for good????

I do not have HIV, unless my bf cheated on me in the past 4 years. I always wear cotton panties. I use sensitive skin, non scented, non colored soap. I eat yogurt once a day also for breakfast. It's not being transmitted back and forth as we have abstained while I've had this problem.

I'm afraid it could simply be your genetics. Tight-fitting clothes could be the problem also. Swtich to cotton panties and change them twice a day if it's necessary. You can't stop them for good, but you can dramatically reduce how often you get them. Eating yogurt is good as well because it promotes active yeast cultures that prevent infections.

First with the soap, do you use body soap or a soap bar?? if you use body soap/wash, try changing the tool you use with the body wash, over time bactira can build up in this. Also if you use body wash, take some of the soap, and put it in your hand sepretly vs. the tool you use, and wash your area with your hand and soap only, this way you know that if tool you use for the body wash is dirty, at least it wont be down there.
Also (not to get personal) but if your boyfirend fingers you make sure his hands are clean, if there is the slightest dirt on his fingers, you could be hypersensitive down there where you could get the infections form the littlest things.
Also if you did or are on any anibiotics/ medications, make sure you finish all of it even thu you think its gone, this could lead up to a pro longed infection with more medications.. hope this helps.

If you are sexually active if you have anal sex then you are injecting tons of ecoli and other bacteria in your vagina.

If you abstain from this - it could be that your boyfriend doesn't properly wipe and is infecting you this way (ask that he wipe backwards and not foward into his scrotum). Smell his balls before he has sex - and ask that he shower if they stink (another source).

You should also try taking the cranberry supplement.

There is also a recent study out that shows that oral sex around the vagina triples your chances of having a yeast infection. The spit encourages more yeast infections.

Is it possible you are getting re-infected from your significant other? Are you sure it is a yeast infection? It sounds like it could be bacterial vaginosis which needs an antibiotic to treat.

its usually tight fitting pants. the reason for that it causes more heat. but if it keeps coming back it may be more than the yeast infection. in any event see your doc regularly to get to the bottom of this. pardon the pun. good luck.

Without trying to get too personal, if you wear anything other than all cotton underwear this could be a cause. As well as tight pants, jeans etc.

You say "to your knowledge you don`t have diabetes" Unless you have your blood glucose levels checked you don`t know. This could definitely be the problem.
