I've been to the Covergirl website, but after I'm done filling out the stuff about my eye/hair/skin color, it asks about what colors you think look best on you, and if I change only that one answer, the make-up results change, and I don't know what colors of clothes look good on me sooo the site turns out to be not all that helpful.

I don't really want to go to a department store, because I know they'll pressure me into buying their products and I can't afford to, nor do I want to... so I was hoping someone reading this could make a suggestion.

My skin is super fair (the lightest Covergirl foundation they make-ivory), my hair is light brown with some reddish highlights, and my eyes are light brown with some green. What would you suggest for eyeshadow/lip gloss colors??? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I haven't seen you eyes. But, they sound gorgeous. I have brown eyes. But my sis has brow hazel green eyes. She wears green and tan eyeshadow. IT looks cute. And for lip gloss you should try something bright. Or shimmering. Like pink color. I hope I helped.

Happy Holidays.

p.s. try not to match the colors for your eyes too much.

You sound like you like to keep makeup simple... go for a warm pink or peach gloss by Clinique or maybelline. For you eyes dark brown-black mascara and shimmer earth tones shadows like green-gold or pinkish-brown; they'll add some warmth to your skin. But b/c you have fair skin and darker eyes it should'nt be a stretch to try color. Don't be afraid of the makeup counter, get a free makeover or a consultation. I workd for Clinique they are there to help not hound you. They'll let you test things and if you don't like them politely but firmly say "no thanks." If you want to buy it you will. Makeup is about fun and experimentation. Look in magazines for a girl who's looks are similiar to yours and do try the MaryKay virtual makeover...it's FUN!!

I think you should wear some goldish-brown eye-shadows and some pale pink lip gloss. Here is a tip: don't let your eye-shadows and lip glosses get too dark.(Stay with the light colors)
go to : www.youravon.com/remery and check out what kind of colors they have.

By your description fo you. I think you have the color that everything could look good with. You shouldn't be afraid to go bold with any colored hues. Try greens fro eyeshadow and for lips you can wear anything really. berrys, mauves and lights and red hues.

I suggest hazel eyeliner with pale green eyeshadow to bring out your eyes and hair color. I would use a nude lipgloss.
