To me Christmas means a few good things - time off from work, good food, and spending time with family. However, it also means spending too much money, finding time to do all the shopping, Christmas music (which I hate), etc. I've never been a big Christmas person. I could care less about the decorations, or religious meaning of it - I'd rather go home to visit family and not have so much pressure.

To me, the "true meaning" of Christmas is a holiday break in the middle of winter, a time to get together with family and share warm feelings and goodness and all that. It's about tradition for me...the baking, the tree, the lights, the music, etc.
I'm not Christian, I'm not religious. I don't make judgements on people for spending Christmas how they want.

Family and gifts. I don't celebrate the 'true meaning' of christmas only because my christian father believes that too much has been taken away from Christmas for it to be a religious holiday so I decided it wouldn't be religious for me, just a time to be with family and give gifts.

Yes, I celebrate Yule in the same manner that it was celebrated 6,000 years ago- Wiccan style! There is no better Yule than doing a drum circle to celebrate the Gods and Goddesses and thanking them for your long life.

holiday...spending time with family and friends doing nice stuff together ...be close and gathered with all the one that you love...
I dont celebrate the true meaning but we read some from the bible...sometimes we have even went to the church, and then we have but we are not so much into that here in sweden ...X-mas is most to show the people you are close to some love and be together doing nice stuff...

Christmas is a time to be kinder to our fellow man or woman, and in a way to test to see how well you really know your friends, by trying to get them gifts that you know and not just hope that they truely love and make their eyes truely light up like they did when they were kids.

Nothing to do with that hobbit we call Jesus. It used to mean that, but as I got older, I realized I was lie to. Now it's just a time when I get stuff.....OOOOOOOHHHHH Stuff... Gimme gimme...GIMME!!!! Can I have a cat? I will name her Mouse-Face...
I'm just kidding. Well, not about the Jesus stuff and I already have a cat named Mouse-Face...I'm kidding that I just want to get stuff. I don't actually want anything...well...except a rubber garden hose and a purple spatula (the good kind that doesn't burn when you make Apple Waffles...maybe some Elmer's glue to put on my forehead and a plastic frog that whistles Salt N' Pepa tunes in the key of D#.
Sometimes I sit on my roof and howl at the people in my neighborhood...sometimes I burn stuff and blame it on the president's wife...sometimes I cry hysterically under the coat rack in Sears...mostly, I eat Hostess cakes while watching Oprah and think, "I wish I was in the movie Jesus Camp...no, even better...I wish I had a toaster attached to my arm, so that I could have hot strudel whenever I pleased..."
Mmmmm...Christmas strudel...
