Good info, but isnt there some cross over where in either my mobile or PDA becomes useless since both do each other's jobs? between the two, which is better to own? and if i get a PDA does it mean i dont need to carry a mobile as well? And does it really help a layperson like me??

I don't consider myself a business person, but i can't live without my pda. I'm a bit scatter brained, and I used to forget everything unless i wrote it down. I started with post its and scraps, that was a mess. Then I got a planner, I had to change the papers every year, and it was too big and bulky for my smaller handbags. Now I have a Tungsten E2, and I have contacts, calendar, games, money management, bill reminders, memos, games, etc. in the palm of my hand. I don't forget anything anymore because as soon as it comes up, I put it in and set a reminder. They're not that expensive if you don't get the top of the line model.

Personal digital assistants (PDAs) are handheld devices that were originally designed as personal organizers, but became much more versatile over the years. PDAs have many uses: calculating, use as a clock and calendar, playing computer games, accessing the Internet, sending and receiving e-mail, use as a radio or stereo, video recording, recording notes, use as an address book, GPS and use as a spreadsheet. Newer PDAs also have both color screens and audio capabilities, enabling them to be used as mobile phones (smartphone), web browsers or portable media players. Many PDAs can access the Internet, intranets or extranets via Wi-Fi, or Wireless Wide-Area Networks (WWANs). One of the most significant PDA characteristic is the presence of a touch screen.

I feel PDA's, (public exhibits of AFFECTION, now not love) are OK to an quantity. There is a line, and it's crossed whilst you begin to make others round you uncomfortable. There is a time and a location for the whole lot. There are exclusive matters which can be suitable for exclusive areas. I feel making out is most effective great if you're someplace semi-individual like a avenue or within the nook of a bar or whatever. I paintings in retail and I rather dislike it while I am serving purchasers which can be couples who appear to feel that my process is to watch for them to quit making out for them to be served. That is an illustration of now not suitable PDA.

PDA - Personal Data Assistant for an average "Joe Shmoe" does nothing. I suggest you invest your money on something more meaningful.
