I personally don't see the point. If you are really commmitted to one another than there is no need to "renew the vows" However I do think it is great to celebrate the 10 year mark with a huge party! Invite all the friends, relatives, whatever and make a big deal out of it. If you want it to be formal make it formal, show the wedding video,or if there wasn't a formal wedding thing then get pictures of the 10 years together and make them into a video or even put them in a nice scrapbook.

Sure, I renew my vows, at four years of marriage, I would love to renew vows at 10 years!

Renewing your vows is renewing your commitment to each other again. It is a deeply joy-est and loving event for those involved, as well as for the family's and children (if any). To know that you would marry him/her all over again is probably the one greatest act that deeply committed and loving couples could ever do.

I hope you two will do this, and feel once again the thrill of your first day of marriage all over again! :-)

Absolutely. That is so romantic. When my hubby and I celebrate our 10th (in 2 years) we are planning on going to Mexico and renewing our vows privately there!

Three days ago (last Sunday) my wife and I renewed our vows for our 1-year anniversary...right after church. It was wonderful!

There is nothing wrong with the celebration of marriage. It is a hard job today, being married. It takes a lot of effort and patience. Love helped you conquer all the bad. Go ahead and be proud of what you have accomplished together. Show everyone you love each other no matter what.

I think is is very romantic, it is a way of showing that even after 10 years of ups and downs they are still in love with eachother and totally committed. It is like saying I would do it all the same.
