I love them both! May I come over to eat?

Here is a variation I just invented for garlic mashed potatoes: mix in shredded cheese with the potatoes while they are still hot and moist. Use finely shredded so it will melt thoroughly. I like Colby/jack mixture and the Mexican mixtures. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll bet the Kraft Mediterranean mixture would work great, too!

The other week I made shrimp Alfredo pasta and it was soooo good. Too bad that it's packed with artery clogging fat.
Now I find myself with 2 pounds of shrimp in my refrigerator. In the interest of good health I'll probably end up sauteing them in olive oil (and white wine, garlic, etc). Gotta find a yummy recipe for Alfredo sauce that is not packed with saturated fats.
Anyway, go with garlic Alfredo pasta for a treat.

Oh I wish I knew what entree you're serving that with! I'm going for the potatoes. Atleast they are not made of bleached, enriched white flour like the pasta. The mashed potatoes are a much healthier choice.

Um, can I come over? Sounds delicious!

They both sound delicious but I'd go with the garlic alfredo pasta. Don't forget the breath mints!

it all depends on what are you going to have with the mash potatos, pork, ham, beef. Me most likely will pick some mash potatos with a roasted honey ham and pineapples and rice. I'm a big rice fan. But it all depends on what you are going to make with the mash potatos. Sounds good to me.
