The depovera can cause this, especially if its your first time using it. The depovera can go either way one by stopping your periods or make you bleed alot, still talk to your doctor. I was on the depovera and it stopped my periods full stop. Be carefull using the depovera especially if you plan on trying for a baby in the near future as it can make you infertile. I was on this and i had two miscarriages due to this, as the depovera puts a layer on your womb and stops you releasing eggs. afterwards when you come off it it takes a while for everything to start working, this caused me to miscarry i started releasing eggs but because of the layer round my womb it stopped the egg from attaching. When i went for the depovera this was not explainned to me. i was just told it would stop my periods. wasnt untill i did some research that i found all this out,

I had the depovera shot and bled all the time as well. It just means it's not compatable with your body and need to pick an alternative method. Stinks I know but it won't stop.

Did you just start taking it? If you just started it, it might be a side effect, but if you've been on it for a while, I would go to the doctor because Depo is supposed tomake you NOT bleed, not bleed constantly.
On the depo website it says this though: "Irregular, heavy, or no bleeding are common side effects of Depo Provera. After a year of use, many women stop having periods. Lack of a period becomes increasingly common with longer use."

That can be one of the side affects, erratic, unpredictable bleeding or spotting. I myself don't like the idea of having that shot as birth control, my Family doctor warned me against it for many reasons....Weight gain, spotting, having a period at any given time, hair loss, etc.....

If it keeps up, check with your gyno.

i do no longer propose getting the shot as a sort of delivery administration. What maximum medical doctors do no longer inform you, is how lots weight which you will benefit, from being on it. you may benefit everywhere from 15-25 lbs from only taking the shot. maximum medical doctors only supply the form of delivery administration to particularly youthful women.

Did you just start it? Cuz when I first got it I spotted for 2 1/2 months! It was a pain. But now I don't get my period at all.

You got one of the bad side effects. My girl in college lucked out, she didn't bleed, didn't lose hair, and actually lost about 10 pounds while on it!

This is a not uncommon side effect with DepoProvera and you should discuss with your physician the need to change your form of contraception.

I am quite sure "bleeding all the time" is not normal.

If you are "bleeding all the time", you need to go to the doctor inmediatly. It's not normal.
