The point in which I always cry no matter how many times I have seen it is when ET say: Come and Elliot says: Stay
I have no idea why this is but oh well. For the kids it is the enjoyment in watching their mother cry..

No, just the sight of him did. When the film came out they had a stuffed toy on sale in the Littlewoods catalogue, I used to avoid that page every time I looked at it. Still frightens the life outta me everytime a clip of it is shown on tv.

Nah, it never made me cry. But then again I haven't watched it in years. I more suceptable to crying now I get older. That's why I refuse to watch Titanic again. It didn't make me cry at the time because I was only 11 but I know it would now. Damn older wiser emotions. Mind you, ET is kinda gross looking. Not sure if I would cry for him...

ET was about a retarded alien with only one fingered that glowed..he got left on earth cause he was too stupid to live on his home planet..he was a diabetic which when he ate all of them reeses pieces made him almost die in the movie..show this to your kids if u want them to be messed up for life..oh..they also made fun of him on Robot Chicken..lol!!..anyway a real tear-jerker is the movie..The Family Man..watch it!!

No 18 coz ET went away in a UFO and the FBI went after him ... actually 14 coz first they went to KFC and it took them ages to leave after washing their hands because they had OCD and I can't think of anymore letters that make words like that and I have just ruined wot used 2 b a good joke lol oopsie

No, it made me buy a gun..So when his alien buddies from Signs, Independance Day and War Of The Worlds come and try to take over I'll go out fighting!!

It really moves me at the end when ET goes back home and they say to each other "Ouch". The pain of not seeing each other again. And the music score adds to the tender moment too. :p

Yes.....and i got emotional when ET 'flew' with the kids....actually i got emotional from start to finish.
