New Labour don't give a toss about the environment, they just need to fund the war they lied about.

President Blair (I mean the title ) has been an absolute disaster for this country. He cares only about himself. I am afraid New Labour have been returned because there were no other serious contenders. Education, health, law and order, immigration policy, foreign policy all on the decline. Why should the environment be an exception.

It isn't about any sarcastic notions like the one's you've mentioned above. It is about the livelihood of fishermen and the fact that there is an industry which cannot be closed down over night. Any change in policy takes time no matter how much the media wants to generate scare-mongering.
Try writing or petitioning to your local MP about the matter. It is better to be proactive than to waste time complaining to those who aren't in a position to make changes.

new labour care about no one except themselves ,same as most political parties ...thieves and liars ....if they really cared about the enviroment then why wont they stop the chemtrail pollution by jet aeroplanes thats been going on all over the world for the last 10years ,why wont they implement green energy policies that work ,wheres all the free energy devices that have been made designed and shelved over the last 100 years ,wheres the recycling schemes ,wheres the door i gotta go lie down this world makes me feel queasy

Our trawlers are in decline with far fewer each year, so don't encourage it, anyway its not us that screw the seas its the fuckin Spanish who take everything bigger than a sperm.
