As an employer, the duration of the job isn't as important as the reason for leaving. Opportunities abound for bright, young people and job changes, especially at younger ages, happen frequently. I'd be more worried about you as a candidate if someone wasn't trying to steal you away from your present employer.

There's really no general rule when it comes to staying on the job. What's most important is your reason(s) for leaving, and it had better be a good one or you look bad to a prospective employer.

For example, at one of my temp jobs, the company didn't have a desk for me so they literally stuck me in janitor's closet all day. I first thought they were kidding when they told me this on the job, but they were serious, and that assignment was to last 3 months.

So I immediately called my contact at the temp agency to let them know what was going on and to say that I will not stay under these conditions. Bottom-line, I ended-up finishing out that day and then never returned. This way, I looked good and was totally justified in not wanting to return under these conditions.

i should be good to retin in1 job for about nearly 2 years..........
reason to drop the last job is must be that "u want to explore the different things in different industries.............
