Just really curious how many people actually do that, I see quite a few 'danglers' on the road....
Me, I just have my little eeyore on the dash, no swingy things for this chick!

I have a gothic looking cross with roses on it. Its actually pretty cool, about 3 inches long and an inch wide ( i realize some have ***** this size)
but it has been dangling there for awhile now, i think i would miss it if it was gone.
my sister got me a pair of dice one year for christmas...i just didnt want to have to go through the trouble of lowering my car, spray painting it orange and changing the sound the horn makes before i would be "cool enough" to sport the dice....

I have a dangling claddagh charm with a crystal and emerald that dangle all around it. (of course they're not genuine stones). But it's a symbol of good luck for the Irish. I also have 2 Irish beanie babies on my dash and an Irish flag banner thingy hanging from my air vent. Everyone calls my car the McMobil.

Yes I have an air freshener that looks like a stained glass cross hanging from the mirror. And to answer the second half of your question I haven't seen tin cans trailing a newlyweds car in many years. Seems like they all want to leave the church in a limo or in someone else's car to prevent any mischief.

this chick has a few swingy things ,,,,one is a strand of red beads with a red hot chili pepper dangling,,another is a beaded air freshener and the other is a long strand of mardi gras beads from a special friend...

I have my tassles. I did have a necklace of pot leaves but I didnt want the cops to think that I am a pothead (I'm not) I also have a little fairy necklace that has fairy dust (for wishing) that my mommy gave me.
