On instrument panel a light came on that is a red circle with 3 rectangular shapes on both sides I dont have a manual, can anyone tell me what this might mean. Thanks for your help.

that's the brake pad sensor, they are getting low.

That would be a brake warning. Like low brake fluid level or there is an issue with the brakes. THis light will come on BEFORE the brakes fail so you can get the car to get it repaired.

The muffler bearings need to be looked at.

It means your manual escape hatch blow off valve is malfunctioning.
