are you serious? It could either be a woman who looks like a man, or vice versa. Basically, a person who strongly carries characteristics of both male and female.

a shemale is a derogatory term used in the porn industry to describe a female to male transsexual. its a bad term if you call a transsexual that you will probably get beat down.
most of the time a transsexual in the porn industry is there to make money for surgery but this is not always the case, some are transvestites that have had breast surgery. and id bet most are not following any kind of serious HRT program since that causes shrinkage and low sex drive in most M2F transsexuals

The term shemale refers to transwomen (male-to-female transgender or transsexual people) who have breasts typical of an adult female (through hormone replacement therapy and/or through breast augmentation), and who usually have other female secondary sex characteristics, but who have not undergone genital reassignment surgery.
Some shemales, even if they can afford it never go through surgery,as they believe they are a complete person without it.
Often the term is used as an offensive term or even a sensational one by the adult and porn industry, even amongst transsexuals and the gay community.

Shemales are porn stars who are transsexual and generally keep their penis for porn purposes. They usually have a very large amount of plastic surgery.
As for people who say all transsexuals are shemales, you're incredibly insulting. fu
