Most likely he won't be remembered much at all. Presidents really have to accomplish great things or live in incredibly desperate times to be remembered past the life times of those who lived during that presidency.

Look who was president 100 years ago. It was Teddy Roosevelt, who was a truly unique president who accomplished great things. Yet he is not well remembered by today's people. Think of other presidents of a slightly more recent period, like Taft or Harding. Who here has any real opinon on them? Unless you are into history, most don't know a damn thing about those two.

Even though we had the Iraq War, it will be little remembered, much as the Spanish American war is little remembered. W will go down as a forgettable president, as will Clinton, Bush 41, and Carter. Perhaps Reagan, Nixon and Kennedy may be remembered more widely, but not by much.

He will be remembered solely for his war based on lies, and abandoning the attack on Bin Laden and terrorism for his obsession with Iraq. He will be included in the short list of this country's worst Presidents, and according to some Presidential historians who have already weighed in, will top that list (Caroline must be watching news in a different universe, I haven't seen commentary from even ONE historian that doesn't place him in bad review.)
