Yes, they can very much. But you have to realize that you may seem mean to people when your grumpy. a Smile can lead to another person smiling. it's contagous. (pardon my spelling)
You treat somebody who is mean to you with respect and kindness then they may realize how rude they have acted towards you. if they don't then that's their problem. i do wish your day will become better *big hugs*

yeah its terrible to encounter someone mean!!!! they leave you with this bad feeling inside of you when someone is rude and mean.
its hurtful!!!
