there is no difference you are paying for the name when you buy the more expensive ones, they are all FDA regulated so they have to work about the same or exactly the same in order to be able to be put on the market, I think that the dollar store ones actually are a bit more sensitive at detecting the HCG hormone than some of the more expensive ones, best of luck to you hun I wish you well :)

The ones from the dollar store are just as reliable and sometimes even more so than the expensive ones. For example, the ept certainty test can only measure pregnancy hormone levels above 100 but the dollar store tests can measure 25 and sometimes even lower. I use them and the dollar store ovulation tests and have never had a problem.

Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.

They are all the same, the only difference is the price.
Don't let anyone fool you that the dollar store tests don't work cause they do.

I used one from the dollar store, and it gave me the same positive result as the one from walgreens.

if you are at your period time, then it is as affective. I used them with my last pregnancy and they said positive. And guess what, I am now 32 weeks with a boy. I believe they work.
