If I was you i would change my car. nearly bought a daewoo but the car sales place had it for sale at £2900 for a 01 model and when i showed interest and said the price was too high I haggled and i got the price down to a thousand pound, I didnt take the car cause that told me the car was no good. I would go to a garage as others have said and get the brakes seroiusly checked the pads and shoes.I wouldnt even drive it I would get it towed to the garage the brakes could go on you at any time.

Warped discs, most likely, suspension joints worn will amplify this, back brakes juddering, how do you know, pulling on the handbrake at speed is the test, if they are juddering it is warped discs or out of round brake drums
Binding brake usually sticking handbrake cable, but can be seized calipers or wheel cylinders.

Jase, what is an m,o,t, failer ?
Oh dear , a Deawoo thing. I am not suprised.
I can only guess that if your brakes are juddering, and the back ones sticking you need to replace the pads & shoes, have a peep at the disks & drums.Replace if worn down.
Oh, and anti-sqeel springs - new ones.
Sounds pricy, so DIY it with bits from a motor factor.
Best bet. Then sell it quick.
All the best with it,
Bob

I'm with Colin above on this; if you have to ask this question here, you need a professional to look at your car.

Oh yes and when I professionals, that is what mean....not national chains of so called 'fast-fit' centres that are staffed by people that know less than you, but can sell you everything you DON'T need.

Go to your LOCAL, INDEPENDENT garage or specialist, they will offer you the best 'honest' (and normally free) advice!

Fluid leaks, warped disks - could be lots of things. Don't mess with brakes unless you're confident, your life's worth more than the cost of a garage!
