When looking for a dyson sweeper i looked at kohls and the regualr price is $649 but dyson's website had it for $549. Kohl's always has items on sale but their sales price is usually the suggested retail price for the item. Does anyone else feel deceived by this practice?

it's called "markup". Kohl's has to make a profit somehow.

Yea, that's kinda shady. There's no reason they can't do this. I doubt the ever actually charge the regular price. Isn't everything in there always on sale anyway?

Hadn't noticed -- I don't buy stuff at Kohl's unless it's on sale. Thanks for the warning though.

Yep....Kohl's is very proud of their stuff, and it shows.
