It goes back to the 50's when the movie industry stereo typed the blond. An example is Judy Holiday in the movie called, "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter." At the same time Marilyn Monroe was playing parts of the dumb blond. We can blame it on the movie industry.

Because of the blonde jokes. The jokes started because blondes are a minority. They should have used reds so they would offend even less people.
