well i was saying i had a scan done at 23 weeks and they seen 3 lines i just wanted to know does that mean its a girl

I think what you mean is...
when they do an ultrasound, and are looking to see the sex of the baby, when they see three lines, they are seeing the labia. (i) (a girl) If it's a boy, they see the scrotum and penis. If they can get a good look, it can be pretty accurate. If they can't get a good look, it can be way off. My third it was OBVIOUS he was a boy. My second, they couldn't see well, guessed a girl and he was a boy. If they are pretty sure they saw "three lines" then your chances are very high that you are carrying a girl. They should have explained that to you! :-) Congrats!!

Yes!! That is the baby girls labia!! They seen my daughter's at 20 weeks and it forsurely 100% sure was a little girl.

Even after clarification you're question isn't very clear. But, I think I know what you're talking about. And no that doesn't mean its a girl. It has absolutely nothing to do with the sex of the baby and has everything to do with the machine itself.

I am not sure what you are talking about but I am wondering if you are referring to ultrasound? I would think the scan would show 2 ovaries and a bladder? maybe that is what you are talking about?
