No, because our Federal Government does not acknowledge Same Sex Marriages of any sort, they also do not recognize same sex marriages in order to aid someone obtaining a visa.
Even if you two married in another country which allows same sex marriages, our federal government does not recognize same sex marriages from other countries either.
Only the State Of Massachusetts allows same sex marriages, and the two people must already be residents of the state of Massachusetts or Rhode Island BEFORE obtaining their marriage license.

Yes they can get married in MA. But, the Federal Laws determine who can become a citizen by marriage and because the Republicans (you know the Bush/Regans) are afraid that their marriage would go bad because two guys getting married would make Barb Bush dump George there is D.O.M.A = Defense of Marriage Act
This is a/k/a Segregation of Gays and Lesbians with providing them with the same rights as "all men are created equal".
Therefore, Immigration laws do not recognize gay marriages in MA and thus a foreign man would not obtain citizenship by marriage.
But if a man buys a bride to marry from another country she would become a citizens immediately. This is what the Republicans call JUSTICE.

There is only one state where gays can get married that is Massachusetts. What you are describing however is a situation that involves immigration and the Federal Government is in charge of immigration. The federal government does not recognize gay marriage not even the legal gay marriages being done in Massachusetts.

You know that is a really good question.
I think that it should be the same right, a homosexual from Mass. can get married, why not with someone from a forign land, so he can get his VISA.
The same rules should apply
but you never know, they might bring some bulls hit that he can't

well i don't think so but it should be allowed, infact gay marriage alone should be allowed, but thanks to the Bush Bastards it is not possible, which is why i'd like to see the Government destroyed. there shouldn't be segregation of Gays and Lesbians, like Blacks and Whites, if we can get over the racist hump of our past, preasent, and future then why not the Homophobia.
I'm bi and i would want to be able to marry my partner(s) and not have to go to another country just to do so and not have it recongized here! That's bullshit! If you love someone you should be able to devote your life to them the same way that a man and woman devotes their lives to eachother.
