i was chating with iths guy who says he is from Pakistan and he told me that he never heard of a condom and that they dont teach them about that...is this true? and also he is a biology major and they dont teach that in biology??? is this true? u dont use condoms over there?

the thing is that sex is a subject thats considered taboo in most of south asia... the media now is breaking that taboo and with india in the lead, pakistani media (print and digital) are doing efforts for sex education
the urbs know about condoms and related info but due to illiteracy many villagers and illiterate city dwellers are left behind..
i am really surprised that a guy with a bio major doesnt know about biology,,, i dont know what they teach and dont teach in biology here (i'm an engineering student) but one thing is for sure..
the national aids control program (NAICOP) had run a survey about aids awareness at least in Karachi in most of the educational institutes...
i cant think how doesnt know this stuff being a bio student.. maybe he was trying to act dumb or something just so that he could maybe have some *ahem* chat with u
