If you have a 28 day cycle then you are likely to ovulate around the 14th day after your period. You would want to have sex before during and after this time! Have sex every other day cause everyday will lower his sperm count!

What a good question....I went for about 10 years without having one, and about 10 with an extremely irregular one. I had fibroids the size of an orange and 2 lemons and the doctors said it would probably take a year to get pregnant....I got pregnant the very month I went off birth control.....Just don't worry about it.....if you worry about it, that seems to have a psychological effect.... you should be just fine....just be sure you always know when your first day of your last period was so that the doctor can properly calculate the baby's age when you do get pregnant.... Good Luck!

good question!! When I was 16 years old, the doctor told me that I would not be able to have a child since I have irregular periods. I mean, sometimes I'd get them in 3 weeks, and sometimes in 6 weeks, I never knew when! SO I thought that I was unable to have a baby! Even when I was married for a year, without protection, I never got pregnant. Then all of a sudden, without a warning, I was pregnant, but I was a bleeder so I was on bed rest for 6 weeks (first trimester).

I know a lady who tubes were tied and for 10 years she thought she would never have a baby again. BUT she got pregnant, even though her tubes were tied!!!!!!! So anything can happen!

I too had irregular periods but I'm 7 months pregnant now. I didn't think I was able to either because I had major gaps between my menstrual cycle. Sometimes it would be a difference of two weeks than four months! It sure was crazy. Keep trying. Good luck!

It shouldn't be too bad, as long as you are ovulating that month. I was told that sex every 2 days (starting on day 10) after your first menstral day should help cover all bases. So sex on days 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18. If that doesn't seem to help, try every 2 days for the entire month. That gives his body a chance to replenish the sperm and you always have active live sperm inside you.

I don't think so. Only in that you might not know exactly when you are ovulating, but you can buy kits to test for that, if you want to be sure.

Otherwise, you should be able to get pregnant just fine.

Not as long as you are ovulating. There are natural non chemical ways to determine if you're ovulating (e.g. saliva cristalization seen on a microscope, wathcing changes on your non mesntrual fluids, etc.)
