Three nights ago my gf and I were having sex until I realized there was a small rip in the top of the condom. I did not ejaculate inside of her, however, I am fearing that some pre-semen may have gotten inside of her. Last night she took the first pill of Plan B, and this morning she took the second. I am still nervous though because I am at no point ready to be having a child. I am just curious if you guys think I was overreacting by suggesting she take Plan B?, what the chances are that she may be pregnant?, and if there are any immediate ways to see if the pill worked or not?

You were right to take Plan B. It doesn't sound like the situation is too dangerous, it also depends if she was on fertile days. You must keep in mind that no contraception method is 100% safe. When I was not at all ready for a baby, I used a condom, but I also avoided sex from the 12th to the 21st day of my cycle, to be safer. I suggest you do the same. A blood test can show if she has gotten pregnant or not 24 hours after conception, not too accurately yet, but she can take it to be sure. I would trust the morning after pill though. If you are so unlucky that the condom broke, it was a fertile day and Plan B didn't work, well, then God or the universe wants you to have this baby!

I don't know what plan b is but, my daughters mother got pregnant off of pre ***. There is some worry but tou could be over acting. Were you using a condom w/spermiced? You should be alright. Also women can't get pregnant at just any time the are a couple day's a month that they can get pregnant. Best wishes.

This has happend to me and my boyfriend a few times, alas nothing happend. It all depends on your girlfriends ovulation period. A lot of people I asked said "well you'll be sure to be safe next time won't you" or "Just use more protection" That doesn't help at all... You just need to go to the doctor in a few days if possible and see what he/she says. Although, if you feel confident enough, wait to see if she has a missed period. Until then try not to fuss over it. I worried for a month that I would be preggers, but nothing happend. If you have any further questions, just email me.

Better safe than sorry. The chances of getting pregnant from precum are small, but particularly if you had ejaculated recently there is a chance there is sperm in it. Plan B is about 70% effective so you are likely fine.
You will just have to wait to see if she is pregnant though. 2-3 weeks.

It was very responcible of both of you to go get the plan B. You never know if she could had been preganant or not, and it was best to act fast then find out she's pregnant and you aborting or doing somethign even worse. Just remember next time to check your condom correctly. Good Luck!

First of all you cannot stop Gods plans, so don't worry if its to be it will be if its not to be it wont be! ex: can you stop the day from becoming night? Or immigrants coming to America?

THERE'S ALWAYS A CHANCE OF PREGNANCY, EVEN WITH CONDOMS. A GOOD IDEA FOR HER TO TAKE THE PILL. IF SHE DOESN'T START TAKE A TEST. HOPE THE BEST FOR YOU. IF YOU DIDN'T DO THIS YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. THINK ABOUT THAT.
